Fiebing’s Liquid Glycerine Saddle Soap is a convenient product for cleaning and conditioning leather items. Here’s how to use it effectively:

1. **Preparation**: Start by removing any dirt, dust, or surface impurities from the leather item you wish to clean. You can use a cloth or sponge to gently wipe down the surface. Ensure that the leather is dry before proceeding.

2. **Application**: Apply a small amount of the saddle soap onto a clean sponge or cloth. Gently work the soap into a lather by rubbing it onto the surface of the leather in circular motions. Be sure to cover the entire area that you want to clean.

3. **Cleaning**: Use the lathered sponge or cloth to clean the leather thoroughly. Pay attention to any areas that are particularly dirty or stained, and give them extra attention.

4. **Drying**: After cleaning, allow the leather item to air dry naturally. Avoid using heat sources such as hair dryers or radiators, as they can cause the leather to become brittle or crack.

5. **Conditioning (optional)**: Once the leather is dry, you may choose to apply a leather conditioner to moisturize and protect it. This step helps to maintain the suppleness and longevity of the leather.

6. **Buffing (optional)**: If you desire a polished finish, you can buff the leather with a clean, dry cloth after it has dried completely. Buffing helps to restore the natural shine of the leather.

7. **Repeat as Needed**: Depending on the level of dirt and grime, you may need to repeat the cleaning process periodically to keep your leather items looking their best.

8.**Condition**: If your leather is overly dry, consider conditioning the leather with 100% Pure Neatsfoot Oil to put natural oils back into the leather.

Always follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer on the product label for the best results and to ensure proper care of your leather items.
