Unlike some other oils on the market, it soaks into the leather rapidly and does not leave a residue. It is safe to use on most tack products and will not harm the stitching. If using on light oil leather, be sure to use it in an inconspicuous spot first to make sure that it does not modify the color of the leather. Not for use on suede.
