The Crescent series bits have 4 ½” shanks and a small gag to help young horses seamlessly transition from direct reining and adjust to the feel of leverage in the training process. It still supports direct rein pull and provides effective rein pressure. The low ported chain mouthpiece provides some tongue relief, while the chain mouth conforms to the shape of the horse’s mouth.
